The aluminum clamp piece on my seatpost is coming loose from the carbon post itself. Does anyone know what type of glue/bonding material is used? I got the post from a friend, so no receipt and it's probably 2 years old. If I can't fix it, does anyone have any experience with the FSA K-Force Lite? The clamp piece doesn't look glued to a tube.

Thanks! I've been riding on it, but it's making me nervous.
the trick is to get the mating surfaces completely clean and rough them up a bit with sandpaper.
if it makes you nervous you could shoot a pop rivet through the head/post assembly on the front and back side or a bolt all the way through. That would provide mechanical retention in case your bond failed.

If it makes you nervous, get a new post. Rivets and carbon are a bad idea. Remember the Rev X?
Same happened to me after over than two years from purchase. Went back to my LBS and they replaced it with another (same model) no questions asked. Why not try that?
