  1. D found a packet of organic lamb chops in the freezer as she was
prepping for the beef delivery due Monday.

That's them. The farmer who raise the lamb did the [censored], and it
shows in their odd shape. But they were tasty. I marinated them in
lemon juice, fresh mint, fresh marjoram, and Bufalo chipotle sauce. I
made a reduction sauce from the marinade, some homemade demiglace*, a
mirepoix, some red wine and mushrooms.

*Actually it's a demiglace-like substance that would get me canned in
most restaurants, but I like it okay.

    I'd totally eat that.
We had chicken piccata tonight. I made a risotto-like substance (I
didn't have enough arborio, so I made up the difference with long grain
rice) with shrimp stock, onions, mushrooms ad peas, and sauteed spinach
    with pine nuts and garlic.

I would love the lamb prepared this way.

Thanks. One thing I'm really grateful for is the fact that you have
chosen to ignore the howler typos in my first message. The chops were
quite good, by the way. But I found myself looking for a midnight
snack around 10 p.m. They were too small, you see.

LOL! Lamb chops are *always* too small, and I always seem to want more. The
marinade and resultant sauce sound especially nice. I've made notes!

Typos often remind me of a very funny answering machine message I once found.
    You might enjoy it...

The fingers you have used to dial are too fat.
To obtain a special dialing wand,
please mash the keypad with your palm...now.

    Cheers!

That's too much fussing, young lady! The chicken and spinach look
great together (and probably are). Save the risotto to have on its
    own next time.
