  1. I just flipped my carbon kuota kredo road bike over to clean the cassette and noticed this. Getting a little paranoid. Is this a crack? It's the small gash near the deraulier hanger.

    Put me at ease

  2. i think your ok It looks more like a scratch to me ( I am no expert)

  3. It 'looks' like just a scratch to me also.

Keep a close eye on it with a magnifying glass.

  4. That looks more like a scratch to me. If possible though you should feel it and see if the problem is more than just visual. It never hurts to be sure with something that you're going to be moving on. I'd also see if it gets worse over time.

  5. That's a scratch. If it was a crack, then I need some glasses.

  6. It's a scratch shaped like a crack.

  7. I think it's a scratch too...BUT...and this a big but, you should for your own peace of mind take it to your LBS and have them look at it because pictures can't always tell the story so we could all be wrong about it being a scratch and if you take our word for it and crash and burn because it was crack we would feel horrible not to mention how you would feel.

  8. Doesn't look like crack to me, jsut a surface scratch. Nothing to worry about.

  9. It looks like a crack but not a deep one so I guess it is okay to ignore although you need to check on it once in a while. And if that crack look becomes clear then check your budget.
