Ditto all the previous posts. For this to become a way of eating for life, you have to make mistakes, learn by experience, etc. And sometimes what you think is a bad week turns out not to be such a disaster on the scale.
Don't get so angry with yourself that you quit in self- disgust. Use the energy of your anger to motivate yourself. No guilt, and move on.

Hey Sharon, maintaining after your week sounds like a victory to me! Congrats for hanging in there and facing the music. Hope this week is a bit easier for you.

You guys are the greatest. I really appreciate your support. I think you may keep me going this time.

I think I wrote about it here before. It was just before Christmas, I had a bunch of flex points left. I love egg nog anything. I went to Barnes and Nobel and DH got me the 24 ounce one. I figured 12 points in my head... He watched it being made and when we got home, we figured it out, I almost had a fit when it worked out to 18 points and I only really enjoyed the first half of it. I did have the points but I was learning the figure it before you feed it lesson. Lee Prairie Roots <[email hidden]> wrote in message "]news:[email hidden]...

Maintain is terrific given what you THINK you did wrong - living. Just restart at the earliest possible time. Congrats to your husband.

Ah yes, I remember the story now. It's worth repeating for those of us who tend to panic when we're not perfectly on point or think that one or two over-point episodes will throw us back to our original weight overnight.
