Hi all: I am on medicine for diabetes and in October my A1c was 8.7. Supposed to be 7 or below.
Last week I had bloodwork again and it dropped to 7 and the doctor was very pleased. I have lost 14
lbs. so far on WW and this is the program my doctor recommends as it is a plan for life. I plan to
get off at least some of my medication as I keep losing. He agrees that this is possible. That is
one reason I am sticking to WW program. I have about 50 more to lose and am confident I will get
there. Bety

Congratulations on losing those 14, Betty. You sound like you have the determination that it takes
to make it. Sure wish you luck in getting off that medicine - I know a lot of people who have been
able to and I hope that you will be one of them. Elaine Kbetty boop said:

to control! My DH is a type 1 - insulin makes it so much easier to adjust for different meals and
eating out!

As you've discovered, there are other measures for your progress than the scale. To see such results
in your bloodwork is really quite significant. Congrats!Prairie Roots On Fri said:
