Great shots. I had not seen his new rig, very nice.
The commentary his post has received from the offended is ironic,
considering they are the ones who refuse to be open minded and believe.

I kind of wonder how intolerance is associated with "turn the other
cheek". That's why I posted the lyrics to "Imagine".

  5. Another good read. Thanks for the link.

One of my most prized posessions is a copy of "Jesus Came Again" by
Vardis Fisher. This book is a novel portraying a non-divine Joshua --
part of the Testament of Man series reviewed below:

Looks like a beautiful ride. Anyone can worship in the Church of the
    Blue Dome.

Now let's discuss whether disc brakes are the one true way on the
    narrow path of redemption.

I've never heard that before, "Church of the Blue Dome", but I really
    like it.
As long as you don't have copyrights to it, I may use it on occasion 🙂

Slam Mohammed like that guy slammed Jesus, and you'd better have your life
    insurance paid up.

Why insult the object of anyone's faith? I didn't like him calling Jesus a
zombie, and he didn't have to go down that path to make his point that he
was out worshipping in his own way. But I'm not gonna burn his town down
like some other religions would if their founder was insulted in a similar
    way.

If my Muslim acquaintances hear me slam Mohammed and pass it on to their
    fundamentalist friends so be it.

There are plenty of fundamentalist Christians firebombing Jewish and

It's your life, you're free to risk throwing it away on a little "humor"
    right?

Why not insult your wife and call her an easy tramp that sleeps with horses?
The humor of it could soothe the savage soul. That doesn't make it a
civilized thing to do, does it? Why insult and alienate a huge portion of
the population? That's your right. I just interjected my values that I
think it is unnecessarily rude to insult the object of someone's faith.

You're wrong, but you have the right to be wrong. The greatest supporters
of Israel worldwide, are Christians, btw. Often much more so than American
    Jews. Ironic in a way.

I'm not interested in insulting others faith. I suppose for some it can be
a small rebellion against those that would regulate others and then justify
it in the name of their faith. For example; blue laws, laws regulating
reproduction. But it usually just pisses people off and ends all chance of
    dialog.

Like the creators of South Park? Funny how it's still the most popular show
on Comedy Central. Did you see the one where Jesus was pooping on everyone?

Is it ok to insult Scientology because it doesn't account for a huge portion
    of the population?

Is it ok to insult anyone or anything in the name of humor? No? Never?

Either way I just reread his post and I still can't see where the insult
    lies.

That may be true, but it does not excuse most organized religions lack
of tolerance, particularly of other religions.

And I hardly feel the guy slammed Jesus, simply made an observation. If
Jesus can't take it (and I think he can), then we really have a problem.
