to top them with.

I got these new "Nacho-Flavored" shells from Mission Brand that
have a flat bottom and stand up on the plate that I'm dying to
try out. I'd invite Jerry over, but I only have a 10-pack of
shells.

I use Green Tea extract capsules.

At least those have antioxidant/nutritional value.

They work too, and are not expensive.

I gave up coffee years ago. Tore up my digestive system too badly.

I'll have to look for those shells. I bought that package of plastic
stands for holding taco shells upright. HEB had a 4 pack of them for
$3.00 iirc. Holds a total of 16 tacos/shells at 4 per rack.

I've only ever used one of them so far. Did you see my taco pics? They
were there.

I'm personally interested in those scooper corn tortilla chips shaped
like an itty bitty bowl. I could work with those...

Condiment stash huh? I need to re-build mine. ;-) I just have packets of
Old El Paso mild picante from work right now, and some catsup packets.

Easy enough, start from the end have a couple napkins handy- so you
make a mess, not big deal,

Had a Hawaiian friend who once told me, the real test of mastering
chopsticks, was to eat a taco using them.

Never quite seemed to master that.

home, I have an order of soft tortillas on the side and I wrap a taco
in a soft tortilla. Always done that. No mess. BTW, Taco Bell doesn't
have crispy tacos. They have soggy tacos, soaked with grease.

Try a different Taco Bell. The one near us makes tacos better than
any restaurant in the area. Not greasy at all.

Do they have Taco Bells in the British Isles or Europe? And do they have
Del Taco anywhere but the Western United States?

Del Taco has soft tacos - the tacos del carbon are good, if you find the
right Del Taco. Their crispy tacos aren't as good as the Bells.

Del Taco has soft tacos - the tacos del carbon are good, if you find the
right Del Taco. Their crispy tacos aren't as good as the Bells.

I ate at Del Taco exactly once in Pacific Beach, San Diego. As far as I
could tell they deep fried the entire taco, fixings and all. The wrappers
were practically see through shiny/wet with grease.

Whenever I visit CA and see the old 1970s blue-white facade I feel like
puking.

I was tempted to give the Dairy Queen's FF a try until the attendant on the
inside at the walk up window couldn't grasp my request for a coffee ice
cream cone. I settled for a soft chocolate/waffle cone. Scratched DQ off my
FF list!

KFC and Arbys are on that list too.

I don't give FF joints a second chance in the hopes they'll get it right.
Granted other locations "might" get it right but I'm not going to waste my
time and money to find out.
