What's yours?
According to Peter Scandrett's site, "The physicist Arthur Eddington was
something of a numerologist in later life, as well as a keen cyclist. He
kept a note of something he called his Eddington Number (E), where E =
the highest number of days in your life on which you have cycled more
than E miles. When he died, his E was 87."
I'm trying to work mine out now, I suspect it's somewhere between 15 and
20 but realise that, until I bought a cycle computer, I never really had
any inkling as to how far I was travelling.
Cheers,
Luke
