It should have cloth tape or some other method of covering the holes
not elastic rim tape it is no good for this sort of rim.

No rim strip required but you may take a small section of rim strip
with a hole for just around the valve hole..like a wee bit of
velox..sharp edges of the valve hole.

I have a set of Eurus wheels too (for about a year), raced all year
never flatted. And yes, you do not need a rim strip.

I'm using Mich. ProRace2's and Mich. Latex tubes with them.

Take a piece of emery cloth (plumber's sandpaper) and smooth out the
sharp edges around the valve hole. Then put a piece of tape over the
hole just for extra measure.
