thanks for asking.

My request would be for Tom Dolan freestyle videos. But I believe you have posted the only
one you have.

If not Tom, then maybe some freestyle videos from other I.M.'ers. Having raced for 300 meters in
other strokes, when the I.M.'ers get to the crawl, they are a little big more "raggedy" than the
crawl specialists. In another words, they're starting to ALMOST look like a recreation swimmer 🙂

Hi again, Donal.

I thought of something else. Do you have any videos of some of the up and comers? How about
something on Michael Phelps, or Adrienne Binder? How about Eric Vendt? He's only 5'10" but kicks so
well he keeps up with men half a foot taller.

Hi Donal, I'm having a "Groundhog Day" here, caught in an endless loop.

Anyways, with the big meet next month "Duel in the Pool", I assume lots of good underwater video
will come out of that.

I have no idea how people take that stuff from a VHS tape onto their computers, but I assume that's
how it gets done. If you or Donald Graft need help on that, maybe the rest of us can contribute.

That begs the question, Why do you want to imitate a raggedy swimmer instead of a smooth one??

Also, not that he's a raggedy swimmer, but there are two videos of Donald Graft himself, if you want
a less-than-Olympic swimmer represented.

First you need a wand with the tail of a phoenix inside ...

I was thinking instead of calling my book, "The Lane Less Lap-Swum," that "Harry Potter and the
Endless Pool" would get me sued a lot faster.

IIRC, Graft has a page on that on his CD, so I can just add that to my website this weekend. I
bought a JVC vcr because it was the only one I could find with an S-Video connector. My new JVC dvd
player also has one. My ATI Radeon All-in-Wonder Pro has an S-video input and software that makes
turning broadcast video into mpgs pretty painless.

Don't follow any of that, but sounds like you're all over it. If you're buying expensive video
equipment for a swim meet, you must be single.

None of it was that expensive.

BTW, there was a new guy in the pool this AM, a very trim fellow with a low head position and a
nice, smooth stroke. He took 25 seconds per length in 16 or 17 strokes, but was decidedly casual
about the speed of his open turns. I guessed him to be a triathlete, which he confirmed.

Actually I haven't stopped by in a while, but anything you've got of klim's free, esp the
dolphin/windmill at the end of the 100 would be nice

mmm,I have to concur - my radeon AIW certainly wasn't very expensive, plays the games I like, allows
for some (recreational - easy painless low volume) video capture and supports dual monitors. It
certainly is nifty what wan can doe with relatively inexpensive 'prosumer' hardware these days....
