I just built my own BC wheel, and it became abundantly clear what the BC
stands for

Bleeding Chin
Broken Clavicle

Perhaps I'll try something less dangerous, like heckling the bouncers

This is of course the right answer. But we already knew that. What I
don't know is who came up with that name originally? The B.C. comic
strip is not available everywhere, so it does not apply as universally
as some other names might.
