  1. I made a boring 20 minute *detailed* video of my logging of a day's Fitday
    info into my computer.

  2. boy, I'd just not use heavy cream if I had to measure it out that much. Are
you putting that in coffee? oh, you put in it diet coke....interesting.
Oh, straight too. Root beer. Wow. L-glut?
    Hehe....you ate the dog's food?

Boy, I watched another of your videos about your friday night socials. Why
not just add exercise to allow you to eat extra food during those times?
You're certainly light enough now... I think you really should go to your
dinners and use exercise and a little bit of "practice while at dinner"
    control.

45 minutes of whining about PacBell with the same pic the whole time? Maybe
you should try to get out more.

    Hey Roger,

Thanks for checking out my videos.

Part of my vision for how-to-diet includes the belief that dieting is not
about "self control," but, rather, manipulation of the body's calorie
regulating system, sometimes called an appestat. However, in answer to your
suggesting that I attend Friday diners and exercise self-control, I find
this a real temptation. I know from experience that in a restaurant I
likely clean my plate. Tonight, they are going for Sichuan. Mmmmm. I
would probably add 4000 calories to whatever I had already eaten through the
day. I'm afraid I would be the one to be suggesting that they do a double
order of the General Cho's Pork.

L-Glutamine is an amino acid. Anecdotes suggest that L-Glutamine can help
suppress carb cravings. It seems to improve memory too. It is commonly
available, since muscle builders use it for their own purposes. Since amino
acids are the building blocks of protein, I have L-Glutamine as a custom
"protein" item in Fitday. Thus, I'm counting each gram of L-Glutamine as a
gram of protein, for caloric purposes. I don't know if this is correct.
    Susan probably knows.

Exercise: I have always hated exercise. I would even find excuses (like
doing work in the science lab) to avoid PE in elementary school.

Ate the dog's food? Um, well, yes. My dog gets human food in addition to
dogfood. The quality is better, and it is not taxed like "dogfood." Yes.
I sometimes put out a bowl of food for the dog, and after he rejects it, I
eat it myself. After 7 years, I figure my dog and I have inter-exchanged
whatever germs might be passed. I think of it as an interaction of
ecosystems. I think it is good encouragement to the dog to be less picky
with food. The dog knows there is a risk I will wolf down food he rejects.
Sometimes, I'll sit on the floor by the dogs bowl and slowly eat his food in
front of him. Sometimes this motivates him to start eating the food, at
which point, I stop, and let him finish the bowl.

My two kitchen scales are made by "Virtual Measurments & Control."
    Model: VB-302-500
    Model: VB-302-3000

These are the low end of scientific scales. If I were rich, I would
probably have bought Ohaus, or something.

I was whining about Pacific Telephone, not PacBell. Obviously, you didn't
watch it all. I was recovering from a cold, at the time, and did not want
    to appear on camera.

I do need to get out more.
