I thought this might happen, which is why I let it dwnld completely
before watching.
This is Michael's best effort. I've no doubt it will even move some
long time MM detractors (I dislike some of his politics/tactics).
It's a scathing indictment of not only this country's approach to
health care, but a mirror held to the national conscience of country
that claims to be the standard bearer for the World in terms of human
rights and dignity. Don't miss it.

Saw it. The root caused of the problems in the United States are for
profit corporations running the medical system. There should be no such
motive in medical care. Break corporate dominance over government and
watch the positive effects. There was one quote in the movie I liked,
when it was said that in France the government is afraid of the people.
Good, that's the way governments SHOULD operate.
What I propose might be hard to swallow but I want to modify the
Constitution of the U.S. I want to specifically EXCLUDE corporations
from the rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights. If corporations didn't
have 1st amendment rights, there'd be no such thing as lobbying. Lets
face it, lobbying==bribery in its current form.
Granted, Moore glossed over the issues that NHS and other national
health care systems face, but I'd be more that willing to part with a
few bucks extra per paycheck to have cradle to grave medical care
without worrying it would bankrupt me.
Oh, and national health care would stimulate business. That's right, I'd
be more willing to kick off my business if I knew I didn't have to ding
in for health care.
And lets face it, the nominal military budget for the United States is
over $550 Billion dollars a year. Add the Iraq and Afghanistan messes to
that and we're over $700 Billion a year now.
If we took just half the $550 Billion, that'd be $225 Billion for things
like health care, day care, family leave, etc. And that's at current
taxation levels.
Know what, I get milked out the wazoo on taxes because I have no
dependents. Thankfully I have an S-Corp that's relatively new and hasn't
managed to make a profit yet. So it keeps my AGI the same for the past
few years.
But what do I really get for the money I kick into the fed and state?
The answer is not much.

Here's another link. I don't know if it works because it uses a divx
plugin, which I don't have:
