  1. I had deleted this list again, but when one of my co-workers showed me
this video, you were the first person I thought of:

    Talk about overcoming insurmountable odds...

After seeing this, nobody has any excuse to fail. ;-)

Great story Om! (Reminds me of Cohen as well as he also has 2 legs, right?)

It creeped me out a little bit. I mean, it's cool that they decided not
to put the dog down, but a dog that works for food & love is easy to
train to do anything, so that part isn't all that surprising.

The part where she casually mentioned, "there was a divorce, and a
kidnapping, and some torture..." Uh, yeah. These are creepy people.

I was so inspired, I cut off Sheba's front legs, 'cause she wants to meet
    Montel, too.

OK, I admit it, I didn't really cut off her legs. Had ya' going, though,
    huh?

I wouldn't have put it past you though. You would do anything for a gag.

Why do you think I cook squid? :-d
    --

    because you like squirmy things?

    Nah. Just variety.
And at Asian markets, it's a cheap source of protein.
    Remember, I low carb......

    Cute.

How about "I'm the one your mother warned you about".

Or my favorite by a woman on another list:

"Some people are like slinkies. They don't have a lot of use but they
make you smile when you push them down the stairs".

    Or:

"Practice safe eating. Always use condiments."

Not bad - let's stick with yours - (I'm getting used to it)

    Oh.

So it's all my fault now for disappearing?

Om, I missed you. Sorry for the passive tense. I'm not blaming you for
leaving (and personally credit you for leaving silently without some
huge thread about how this place has gone to [censored], etc etc) but I do
sometimes get a bit peeved at you for lack of kill-filing.

opportunity to render certain false impressions.

    Exactly.
