Free: Why not cut it yourself. I've cut 4 of them myself, never had any problems whatsoever. It's not rocket science; you just have to be careful and take your time using a good quality hacksaw. If you really want to be safe, many hardware stores also sell blades specifically designed for cutting non-ferrous and composite things. Just be sure to cut straight. Also, use a very fine grain sandpaper to get it to within the correct distance from the lip of the stem (3-5 mm) after you make the cut.

if its a full carbon fork, don't cut it all the way through. cutting it all the way through from one side, as you would cut a board or pipe, can cause the fibers to peel back on the exit side. cut in to the middle from opposite sides.

Don't some folks recommend using a sealing agent to cap off cut CF? Any info on that?

I've just borrowed a jig from my local bike shop to cut mine.

BS...Just wrap it with masking tape and use a light touch.

A hose clamp works as well and you don't have to be a begger.
