FRANK LOVERME said:OK Gents, Let me explain my history.
Let's start with your present instead. Frank Loverme? And why's it
gotta be in ALL FREAKIN CAPS, HUH!?
Quoted message said:Firstly, I'm totally blind,
Like Stevie Wonder blind? Is this a figure of speech or are you
literally blind as in you can't see?
Quoted message said:and from early on, found little non conflicting studies on body building.
Bodybuilding reflects life in general. That is to say: There ain't
much that's non conflicting, pal.
Quoted message said:I see the same banter on this site.
Banter, eh? Is that how you'd characterize the wonderful exchanges
that take place here, FRANK?
Quoted message said:One book tells me to do multiple sets and many reps, with low weights,
while another book boasts fewer sets, with heavier weights and specific
numbers of reps. Still, another book encourages single sets with high
weights, working to failure, and recycling.
Recycling? Whaa?
Regardless, they're all correct. Mix it up. High, medium, low reps
with heavy, medium, and low weights. Try one program for 6 to 8 weeks,
take a week's rest and then try a different program for 6 to 8 weeks.
Keep your body guessing.
Quoted message said:The information available to us is limited.
Did you mean limited or UNlimited? I'd go with the latter as a truism.
Quoted message said:Then I happened on this site, thinking, "I could learn from these
dedicated guys", but I see contradictory statements.
By this site, do you mean MFW? Because, hey, it's not a site. It's a
newsgroup! (Can't have JDW pissing in your Wheaties over that one.)
Quoted message said:I read a book, a few years back, by a Mr. Something or Other, name of Coe,
who gave me a routine, which crippled me, for many months, and from which I
suffer damage, still.
Boyer Coe? Now how did anything you read in a bodybuilding book
cripple you? Did he tell you to squat to failure without safety
stands? Is that the book where he recommended you drop a dumbbell on
your toes? Wtf.
Quoted message said:My diet? On my workout days, I eat my carbs an hour before lifting,
and within a half hour of completion, have my proteins.
That's not a diet. Hell, you didn't even MENTION HFCS90 or HFCS42!
P'shaw.
Quoted message said:Recently, I've begun core exercises, and like the results. This past
Winter, I gained 15 lbs, but it wasn't muscle. I've been looking for a
program, which will tell me how many carbs and proteins to consume, for the
routine, I use. Is there anyone, on this site, who is serious about helping
someone, who remains a novice?
Did you say you were blind? Doesn't Waldenbooks have any diet books on
tape? I'll recommend The Abs Diet which is available as an audio book.

(Okay, maybe a small pun.)
