I haven't checked if your looking at the right thing on Wiggle anyway
but..
If you don't need to spend £35.50 on other stuff, you save a fiver by
buying it off Pete. End of story.

Yes, save yourself 50p, why not? :-) The item is as good as new, really.
It's not the kind of thing that gets damaged or wears out.
