Well, at this morning's crit, I don't remember seeing any skinsuits in the Masters, 4/5, or cat3 events, but I can't see why it would make the slightest difference, assuming you like wearing a skinsuit. (I did see a couple of National Championship jerseys as they rode away from the rest of us in the Master's race, but that's another story entirely...) I guess there's always the "which is cheaper to replace if I crash" scenario, but then I never ride expecting to crash.

  3. This seems more related to the racing forum than the equipment forum... It could go in either, but you may get more responses there.

  4. Hi
    Thanks!
I made a choice. I'll wear a skinsuit because of the weather.

Because of the weather? WTF? I wear what the sponsor kicks down to the team. Wish they would get us some skinsuits, but for the time being it's just the regular 2 piece kit.

  6. This was 15 years ago mind you, but we wore one piece suits for everything, but training. Cooler, more confortable (#1 reason) and if there was any aero advantage-fine!!

But comfort was the number one reason. We also got full zipper suits as well. That helped even more on hot days.
