*SIGH*, if you don't care for staying within warranty that is FINE (and in fact that is how I do things too - one of my bikes has an Ultegra RD running out of spec), but how many times do I have to say it, I'm not advising YOU. I'm making a comment for the original poster. Maybe he really would like to stay within warranty and do things by the book. If on the other hand he thinks it's lame advice he doesn't have to take it. YOUR opinion is neither here nor there. Got it?
