I use a Foreman-type Grill all the time made by Hamilton
beach. :-) I use it so often, it stays out and has a place of
honor on the counter next to the stove.
Mine too. :-)
But I've done so much over/under cooking...
I need help! LOL
Experimentation... <G>
Err on the side of caution.
You can always cook stuff MORE, but once you have overcooked, it's
ruined!
I like my beef rare, so I only cook burgers for 3 to 5 minutes depending
on how large they are.
Chicken breasts, 8 to 12 minutes, depending on how THICK they are.
Buffalo wings cannot really be over cooked.
I cook them thawed for 6 to 7 minutes, frozen for 10 to 12 minutes.
Fish? Watch that! It's REALLY easy to overcook!
Mushrooms and other veggies, 1/4" thick, about 8 to 10 minutes.
The grill cooks hot and fast!

eggrolls, cheese sticks, and sometimes sliced squash.
I'd be happy to help you with suggestions, but a usual rule of
thumb is about 1/2 the skillet time.
Ooooh. Excellent tip. Thanks. That I can remember!

I'm a "burning" beginner or you could say a "raw" newbie.
I've only had the 'hand me down' a short while and can't quite get
the hang of it. But your tip will help!
Thank you and Happy New Year!
Care care care!
it's better to undercook and add a minute or two than to ruin by burning.
