One of the recent threads starting to talk about the 'professional' looking names on the top tubes. These decals are not exclusive to pro riders; you can get them for your bike. The Postal/Discovery decals came from www.vcgraphix.com. A simple way to upgrade your own race steed, so why not?

But, in defence of plastic bikes, I got up Hotham twice on the w'end,
some total of around 4,000m height climbed in two days on a plastic
fantastic. We rode Hotham->Bright & back on Sat, and Hotham -> Omeo &
back on Sunday. I'm still waiting for GPLama's adventure report! He
missed the killer climb out of Omeo .. urgh ... evil!Just .. -very- slowly 🙂

I heard somewhere recently that excellence and success comes from
experience, and most experience comes from failures. So you're doing fine.

Ah, after reading the updates on the webpage, I think I understand.
The second frame to break was the one we heard about recentlyish. And
you already had one break on you beforehand which I don't think you
mentioned. Both lovely bikes, when they were still alive, mind you 🙂
