  1. Anyone now where to find these in the US?
    Thanks!

  2. http://www.ggbrancrispbread.com/ is the only place I've found, but
they only sell by the case. I am told that some health food stores
have it, but I haven't found one yet.

i'm in NY and they seeem to have that at the supermarket. does it have to be
that exact brand because i definitely see similar items, if not that brand -
    but GG seems familiar.

Thanks - I'm going to go that route if I have to, I guess. has anyone tried
them? What do they taste like?? Compare to.. what?

    Thank you.

    Have you tried Wasa crackers?
    http://us.wasa.com/Wasa/smpage.fwx

    or Kavli?

Both Wasa and Kavli are carried by Whole Foods and most stores (Harris
Teeter, Kroger, etc.) carry Wasa. I think that CostPlus/WorldMarket
    carries these as well.

The GG ones look a bit like weetabix cereal to me!

I understand the GG crispbreads have zero effective carbs. This is why I'm
chasing them down. Anyone know of another cracker-type thing that can
    compare?

    Thanks

I haven't tried either of these products but noticed them the last time I
    was "shopping" at this site.

The GG crispbreads are good and likely worth "chasing them
down" but you are mistaken in their being zero effective
carbs. Please don't be offended, I made the same mistake
when I first discovered the product and my mistake was
kindly pointed out here. Be aware that this product is from
Europe and the nutrition label has already removed the fiber
from the carb count. The net carbs is what it says on the
    label for total carbs....3.

Think about it this way: The calorie count per cracker is
16, there is 1 gram of protein for 4 calories and nothing
else but the carbs. Those 3 carbs under total carbohydrate
at 4 calories each make up the other 12 calories for the
    total of 16.

That said, in my opinion they are a good addition to the
diet when you can afford the carbs. I personally eat a
couple a week for breakfast with lox and bit of cream
cheese. Not bagels but they do taste mighty good.

  10. Crispbreads are not low carb.

  11. The sourdough rye are great! I eat 1/2 one with tuna on it. It's low
carb too. I also like seasoned rye crisp with land o lakes diet butter
    spread

I've seen Wasa at one grocery and a couple of Wal-Marts

Thanks JJ. I'm at my goal weight now and looking for more variety in my
diet... low risk type stuff, so these crackers seem a better choice than
what I've been eating lately - low carb tortillas. The tortillas are
somewhat gummy and to be able to eat something with some snap to it, is
going to be like heaven. I've ordered these and have high hopes. I want a
new "staple" in my diet and feel these might be just the ticket. Thanks
again for pointing out the true carb count. Good to know.

Look for the Santa Fe brand tortillas, Carb Chopper, I've seen them in
one grocery and in Sam's club. They aren't gummy like the others.

Those are good. The closest thing I've come to LC tortilla that tastes
    like a regular flour tortilla.

Thanks for the idea. I've been debating adding an occasional LC
tortilla into my food intake, but haven't wanted to try a thousand
different kinds to find a decent one. Will look for this kind first!

  16. Well, they're here and they're great. They taste like a triscuit sans the
grease. Actually, they taste better than a triscuit. My ten-year-old
daughter likes them too, so that's a pretty good vote.

    Thanks all.
    Cheerio!
