  1. I am going to a recipe swap tomorow - 1st I don't know what to bring! It
should be easy/cheap to make and LC so at least I can eat it!

I was thinking of Babaganouj but not so LC and would bring pita for dipping.

I probably won't be able to eat any of the other peoples stuff so I need
mine to be LC at least!

I'm sure there are fancier recipes, but I always pick "quick and easy" every
    time...

If it were me, I'd make a variation on my spaghetti squash casserole,
omitting the meat, and serve it with my cheesy meatballs. (Both recipes are
    on my http://lowcarb.owly.net space.)

Not many ingredients, not much time, and easy...that's me!

  5. Heroine Wings? They are a lot of work but very tasty. Here's the original
    recipe,

    Heroin Wings

    4 lbs chicken wings
    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup grated parmesan cheese
    2 tbsp dried parsley
    1 tbsp dried oregano
    2 tsp paprika
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp freshly-ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 350º. Cut wings up into "drummettes". Combine the grated
cheese and the seasonings. Line a shallow baking pan with foil. (Do not omit
this step, or you'll still be scrubbing the pan come New Year's Day!) Melt
the butter in a shallow bowl or pan. Dip each "drummette" in butter, roll in
the seasoned cheese, and arrange in the foil lined pan. Bake for 1 hour at
    350º.

it wasn't spicy enough for me so I just dip wings in butter, roll in a
mixture of grated Parmesan and Cajun seasoning, bake for about 30-40 minutes
at 375-400º, they turned out better for me in a hotter oven.

I decided to make crustless spinach & cheese mini-quiche in cupcake wrappers
    :o)

I origianlly saw something similar in South Beach book. I think that will be
easy, cheap, fun to eat and LC!
