Silca combo presta/schraeder, brass type, with a teeny
hose clamp-last pump head you will ever buy.
If you buy this, or any Silca head, don't forget to buy a
supply of inserts (they're cheap) and a strap to hold it on
the valve after the first twenty times you use it. Also, get
to the ride early so your friends won't have to wait on you
while you try to get the Silca head to stay on.
Can you tell that I am no fan of Silca? I know this is
blasphemy coming from an old guy like me, but I have never
understood why people value them so highly. So what if they
last forever? I would rather have a $25 pump that works and
has to be replaced every five or six years than one that
doesn't work and lasts forever.
