Good Tires to Use for Training?

Specialized Armadillos. Although not the lightest, they last a good long time.

I've always had good luck with the Vittoria Rubino Pro's as well. Not sure if they come in 700 x 25 though.

I've been happy with Michelin Axial Carbons.

Michelin Carbons or the Conti 4 season. I run Conti 4-seasons on my bad weather/winter bike and they wear well and are very punture resistant.

I use TUFO Tubular Clinchers S33 Special. Awesome price. Great feel and durability. 🙂

Vredestein Ricorso tires are great. I hit my highest top speed on them and they roll fast and last long. Sometimes I had to do emergency stops and burn rubber - well they hardly wore even and the skid mark. And they're really cheap tires - about $12 each online. I barely get any flat with them too.

Another vote for the Vittoria Rubino Pro

It does come in 25mm as seen on Vittoria's website

But the more popular is the 23mm and it could go on your rims OK
