Gotta get tires

The Michelins hand down .Fast on the street and fast on the trails As long
as its dry .Not to good in the mud .But no Slicks are.

Specialized HardRock'rs, and scrub off the name when you mount them ;-)

You may want to take a look at the Kenda K Rad. They come in a fat
size, roll very nice on pavement, are quite usable on dirt (just not
mud), are fairly light, and best of all they are cheap. They've been my
comuter/urban assult/occasional trail of choice for a year now and I
don't have anything bad to say about them.

Enlighten me; what's the point of tubeless? They're not lighter, cost more
and are a hassle to install

None of the above. We ride mountain bikes. Those are all road tires.
