GT Fork Advice

yes cheap light strong and straight, i've just taken some off my kona, how
far are you from yorkshire, do you want 2nd hand? not sure if the steerer
tube would be the right length for you

if the bike was set up for suspension the geometry could be affected by
going down in fork length to rigids

The P2 is not the beefiest, the Surly is.

The P2's are almost certainly your best bet. Currently going for £40 from
Wiggle.

suspension-geometry frame may lower the front end and effectively steepen
angles, as well as lowering your bottom bracket.
