the 60's. Maybe there is some flowerchild stuff built-in to this?

In my world, we just took life as it came. Meditation and soul searching
were not part of my existence, then.

You know, chocolate-covered chicken... I think there actually is a

I used to sing first Soprano in High School Choir and in JC choir.
Got a voice scholorship from High school, but decided not to pursue
music. <sigh> I still sing for my own pleasure and play guitar but
that's it. I DO miss choral singing, but do sing with my dad
occasionally. He is a Bass and we harmonize well.

I went into health care instead. I grew up very poor and was just afraid
of the instability of a career in music. I wanted something solid.

I envy you and I'm so very happy for you that you were able to make a go
of it!

Have you run across any of the websites yet with music jokes?

Nope. People didn't get that in the neighborhoods I grew up in. 🙂 People

not Buddhist, but I could be wrong on that.

"Om" is the sound of the Universe. Meditating while chanting "Om" is
supposed to align the chakras of the body with Universal Energy.
