Are they actually any good for developing hand strength / forearm muscles?
May sound like a stupid question, but I'm curious!

Sorry for the delay, Geezer, next time you'd better give us a time
limit for responding, just to be on the safe side. 🙂Anyway...
The only grip "strengtheners" I've ever used have been Captains of
Crush grip trainers. And yes, they've made my crushing grip stronger.
I could just about close the Trainer model when I got them, but now I
can close the No. 2 occasionally. Not every time, and never for more
than one rep, but it's still an improvement. If I devoted more time to
it, I'd probably get better at it.So, at time of posting (14:05 GMT), 100% of respondees to your question
answered "Yes".Stephen

lol Stephen, just that so much responses had passed through the ng
and none in reply to my simplistic question 😄
Thanks for the info, I guess I'll buy a decent one 🙂 -

Sorry also Geezer that I am a little late responding - (the question is
fairly astute I thought and warrants a serious reply) - my advice is not to
use those grip things unless you want to get a whole new wardrobe for long
sleeved shirts. I started using them until I found I could not get the
sleeve over my forearms and people were wondering why I always had my
sleeves rolled up. Everywhere I went I had to roll up my sleeves and people
basically thought I was showing off my muscly forearms when in fact I was
too cheap to buy new shirts. -
