  1. Reading through a "collection" of recipes I came across some
    helpful hints....

"cooking cabbage or onion, add a wedge of lemon to
    prevent odor."

I can see adding it to boiling cabbage, but what about
frying onions, it would probably create bad spashes.

    take care Liz

That seems odd to me -- why would one cook something that
they think has a bad odor?

But...I *like* the smell of frying onions, especially if

Some people probably resent the smell lingering in the
    house.

ObSauteedOnions: Dinner tonight was grilled bratwertz and
onions with horseradish cheddar cheese on potato rolls, and
steamed broccoli w/roasted garlic alfredo sauce.

Why would one need a perfume or deodorant? Just chop up a
few and saute' or carmelize 'em. You don't need an aerosol
or pump spray. Now, I have seen savory smelling candles at
specialty shops. I'd much rather make my own than spend the
$8-$10 bucks for the stupid candles.

Onions need to be cooking or at least hot to have the full
effect. Cold grilled onions don't smell enough.

How would you 'freshen-up' on a date or when at work
    (or, <sigh>,

This is definitely a job for a professional aromatholigist.

Some people smell like onions naturally. But they're the
    ones who need deodorant! =:-o!

I can just see a stinking Jew AOL'er such as yourself
carrying around a frying pan, propane fired hotplate and
sliced onions and using it everytime you want freshen up.

I say we bring back the Holocaust and this time we can just
limit it to Jews who use AOL.

This has to be the most bigoted [censored] statement I have

I expected that from some pathetic hypocrite. Sheldon can
    make

mother, and nobody ever calls him on it (even think its

Like I said before - why can Sheldon make all the racist
comments he wants and it goes unnoticed? I really want to
know from those of you who are commenting on my remarks. Put

The irony of this is just priceless.
