Headset Specs ??

Yes it's threadless, and yes it will come with everything but spacers. You might want to consider having a shop instal it.

Sounds like a good Idea, just want to get all of the right stuff.

It's not terribly difficult if you have the right tools. Trying the hammer and block of wood technique with a carbon frame could get expensive. Unless you're building up a bunch of bikes, the shop charges are cheaper than the tools. There's a good selection of threadless headsets here:

Well, that's a little screwy because the description says "threadless" headset but the one in the picture is obviously threaded. I'd stay away.

All headset discussions shoud begin and end with one name, Chris King. Don't mess around. Just install it and forget about it. I know guys that wear out their frames and transfer their King headsets to their new bikes. I cant even count the miles on mine and I have never once had to even look at it (although it is a real beaut).

Yup,
That looks differant. You're always hoping to save a few bucks doing it yourself, but it's not worth ruining a new frame over.
