I'm about to come up on my first special event while on
the program.
My boyfriend and I are going to go on a 3 day holiday next
week and one of the things we're looking forward to is
having dinner at the fancy schmancy restaurant one night at
the resort we're going to be staying at. I'm not too
concerned about most of the vacation, I can keep an eye on
the points and allow myself a bit of leeway. But for that
one dinner, it's a really special event for us, I'm pretty
sure I'm going to get my ring and formal proposal, and the
last thing I want to be thinking about is "how many points
is this wonderful meal costing me?".
It's not that I want to gorge myself or anything. I simply
don't want to have to think about my food for one evening.
How do I reconcile the need to relax with the guilt of not
being a good girl for a day?
