  1. are hex wrench sets such as the park hxs-1 professional hex wrench set standard or metric size?i am trying to see if getting a hex set from craftsman would be cheaper or getting the wrenches seperately.thanks! theyll be used on road and mountain bikes.

  2. Not trying to flame you, but if you actually READ the link you posted you'd see this phrase:

    "In sizes especially for the bicycle mechanic (2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10mm)"

  3. i did read it.i dont know much about metric/standard 🙁 i had to ask a friend.he said its metric.

Inches are standard (in the US), millimeters are metric, cubits are biblical.

Look at the Pedros sets. Bit cheaper than Park and every bit as good.

That set from Park is $20. That is insane. I have been using this set for 2 decades and not just for my bikes and it costs less than half as much as the Parks.

You can get a set from Home Depot or Lowes that works fine too.
