  1. Hello all I have been reading your past posts on hives and I believe I
have Cholinergic Urticaria from what I read on here.

I've had hive problems for years every time I exercise within 10
minutes my legs are killing me so itchy and painful. My ankles all the
way up to my thighs. Then my upper torso starts getting itchy with
hives if I keep running. I have to run home and rip my pants to relieve
the itching red blotches...no one seems to understand this.

I've seen so many doctors and they all think I'm nut as does everyone
else who gets annoyed when I have to stop walking to itch, I had to
    give up running.
It's not my clothes, or soap etc!! It's been about 15 years now and I'm
    fed up!

Sure it helps once in awhile if I take an allergy pill, allegra
whatever but I dont want to rely on that it's not healthy I want to get
    to the real issue.
Is this a blood disorder or what is really causing this?
No it's not caffeine, I have no allergies and don't drink any caffeine
products or eat junk. I might have Lupus apparently I have an
autoimmune disease but it's not confirmed as Lupus yet.

Should I see an allergist specialist or another kind of special doctor?
My family doctors are clueless so I need to figure things out as usual
    myself. Any recommendations?

ANy help appreciated! THank you, Jacquie

  2. Your family doctor is clueless, so you thought you'd go to a group of
slack jawed mouth breathers for your medical problem? Does your
    accountant fix your car too?

  3. Sometimes people relate and can help out in rare cases. It's through
Google I found out about Lupus and had my doctor test me. I have learnt
to do my own research for good reason and I'm open minded to listen to
other people in similar cases - anything helps.

  4. T-R-O-L-L

    Anoyone spot it besides me?

  5. Ok so maybe you aren't a troll. Lets see. Send me an avi of you
stripping off your clothes, and I'll see what I can do.
    Your pal,
    Ab

Firstly, good luck in your search for other treatments. A quick google
    suggests anti-histamines, anti-histamines and anti-histamines. It seems
your conventional treatment options aren't too great!

I know you want to avoid them as, in your own words "it's not healthy" but
you should ask yourself whether being prevented from exercising is healthy.
Of course it's not "natural" popping anti-histamines whenever you want to
exercise, but if it were me, I wouldn't have too many qualms about it.

You could certainly try but there are an awful lot of quacks out there
feeding off a self made market. Allergies are terribly fashionable and
they're bound to have a vested interest in diagnosing and treating a
multitude of ailments as "allergies" whether they are or not.

Sorry I can't really offer anything other than my sympathy.

Jaquie, trolls are to USENET what fleas are to a dog, pretty much a fact of
life. Just ignore them and don't rise to their bait.

  9. from what I've read about LUPUS there isn't a test to identify it. It
can manifest itself in so many ways that it is very hard to identify.
Has a test become available just recently?

Sorry, no suggestions except to keep trying to solve it.

    Good luck.

    Ed
