I'm selling my '99 large Ellsworth Truth frame over on MTBR, I have not
sold anything online previously and do not expect to sell very much in
the future.
Any recommendations on getting paid for this frame once it sells, with
minor risk of getting ripped off, minimal concern for the buyer and
minimal cost both of us?

Yep. I sold a shock on MtbR and had the dude PayPal me the $.
As soon as I received the funds I took pictures of the box
(with the address label) and emailed them to the guy, along
with the tracking info.MtbR classifieds worked incredibly well; I had bites within 24 hrs of
posting my ad. I would consider a good Escrow service though for high
ticket items. Or at least give the customer that option to make them
feel more secure.

off?I haven't sold anything over $500 but everybody I've sold to was fine with
sending payment first. And I've done about 120 transactions in the last two

Personally, I will not do any transaction where I have no recourse, but I
