  3. I can hop with either. I prefer to hop left foot forwards because i can
hop, ohh lets say, twice as high. I can see you are quite new so i
would just stick and practice with whatever foot feels right.

  4. I'm not that new i was just wondering.I've been riding for just over a
year so maybe new but i dont feel new to the sport atall anymore.
I think I should learn to hop with my left foot forward so that its
easier to jump gaps with a rolling hop without having to make sure my
    right foot will be first.

left foot forward <_< I filled in right. No one going to kill me,
    right? I SAID RIGHT. HAHA.

    Sorry.

  6. I hop with my right foot forward, though I can do it with my left foot
forward, I'm not good at it, but I'm trying to switch because I hold
the seat with my right hand.

Why would holding the seat with your right hand make a differance with
    which foot you use?

    Joe

well, I've decided that for seat in front hopping, it would be best to
hold the seat with the hand that is the same as your back foot....

seat...it was very uncomfortable for me si i hop left foot back right
    hand on seat.

  10. well, the reason I think that is because when I land after hopping seat
in front, the seat falls towards my back foot because theres nothing in
the way to stop it. if my hand was on one side, and the leg of my
front foot was on the other side, I think it would work better.

  11. I hop right foot back, left handed seat out. I find it much easier to
hop to the right, so thats why I hold the saddle with the left hand.
The right arm (for me) is more effective at maintaining balance during
    grabs.

  14. I can hop to the right but it is very uncomfortable, I just 180 too. I
can hop about a foot in the opposite crank position, I haven't
practiced it at all though because I have never really wanted to be
    able to hop in both.

  16. I hop to the right, right hand on saddle, and right foot forwards...
When I do rolling 180/360's I turn left though, isn't that a bit weird?
Wow, I can say I do blind 180's all the time...

really matter? the reason I'm asking is that i really have no distance
    preference..do most people?
