You can get a cleaner disinfectant in tablet form; from the outdoor/camping shops they use it to clean waterbottle.

You can use Milton, you use it to sterilise baby bottles, it doesn't leave a taste and you'll need it to sterilise your bladder every now and then anyway.Or you can rinse with a DILUTED jik/bleach solution but that leaves a bit of a jik flavour.:p

I too have a nasty plastic taste from my Camelbak.
I´ll give the milton tabs a try.
Also I´ve been told that its best to keep it filled when not in use.

what i do, is put listerine or any other mouthwash in the bladder and let it soak for about half an hour then rinse it out with hot water, this kills the bacteria and leaves a fresh minty flavor for a couple bladder fulls of water.
