I need a scare story!!!

Some people just have to learn the hard way! Arrange a nice long two day training ride. Maybe the feeling of unprotected bum touching the saddle at the start of day two might be enough to convince her!

Do you think she'd wear a pair of MTB shorts with "integrated" underwear and chamois? You might give that a try.

You might suggest "cycling underwear" to her. The padded liner would be better under conventional shorts than regular underwear.

And it was not long before i experienced the painful bite of saddle rash, riding with the rash turned into saddle sores I ended up with about 8 of these sores along the seem line of my jocks.
