inner tubes?

I'd stay away from airless tires (foam "inner tubes"😉, which are known
for their harsh ride, difficult control, and tendency to break wheels.

Puncture resistant tubes plus sealant might solve your problem.
Another option is converting to tubeless [http://www.notubes.com/],
which some peple swear by.

Puncture vine is not a big problem where I live, so I don't really
know which alternative is best.

Are you riding on lots of thorns, or just with your tire pressure too
low? A switch to a thorn-resistant tube and a check of the air pressure
(keep your rim off the ground) should work wonders. Some people like to
patch tubes over and over, but there comes a point when it's time for a
new one!

BTW, it occurred to me you may have thorns embedded in your tire. If
you don't clear the inside of the tire when repairing the tube, you may
get new punctures from the same sharp object. Run your fingers
(carefully) around the inside of the tire to make sure there aren't any
pokey things in there.

slime tubes. get real ones not imataions. theyll heall about 15 times.
pull out all the thorns before installing it. they also sell ultra
thick slimes. and it that still doesnt work get some MR. Tuffys.

and make sure u go to a shop not a department store.

yeah i have been riding around my alley alot and in southern new mexico
we have alot of "goat heads" (like 4 or 5 thorns in one) growing in
the alley.
i didnt patch the tube i would just fill it with air before i would
ride and i would hold air till the next day but now i bought a self
sealing slime tube so hopefully that will work.🙄

dude, don't get the slime tubes, anything that they can fix will not
puncture a thornproof tube or not even get close to puncturing a pinch
proof tube

Slimes a rip, If your out on a ride without a pump it dosnt help you any
because it still goes flat.

It are solid tires. I've been unicycling with those, and you hardly

From years of MTB I have found that Stan's sealant is the best. I just
wore out a tire with out EVER having a flat. I have done about 1500
miles on the MTB with one flat due to a large, 1/4 inch hole that the
Stan's could not fix. I pulled a thumb tack out once and it hissed for
a second, then sealed. I also had these goat heads of which you speak
in the tire with no flats. Stan's is lighter, easier to deal with and
more effective than Slime(which I used in the past) My 2 cents!

I give your review more credibility than my previous warning, since I
haven't tried Greentyres. Still, Sheldon Brown is none too keen about
"airless tires" [http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tires.html]. I found

That were some good links. Yes, I did ride that greentyre one the
smoothest and most level surface you can have...(on ice, with nails
punched trough it)!
It was the 20" Blizzard model in yellow. You can see it in the movie
"idle (close-up)" at 'this page'

But before I've abused that tire, I tried riding off and up
streetcurbs, to see if I could hit the rim, or damage it. The unicycle
did pass all my testing. I don't think it will be ever significant that
a certain non-lab damage to the rim/shape wont have been there when
using an air tire. And advantually you will be able to damage
everything. And no, a solid tyre will never be better than an air-tire.
But the problem was flat tyres, not broken wheels. So I'd say give it a
spin.
Anyway I (freestyle rider) still prefer an air-tire. But if I had to go
around the world on a either a bicycle or unicycle, I serious would
consider using the Greentyre. It's behaviour definitly amazed me, as I
was very sceptic of the concept in advance.

stan's no tubes is pretty awesome stuff. do take your time on the
install though. practice a few times then do it right.
