Interactive Bicycle facilities map

I've tried it in Firefox 1.0.7 and Mozilla 1.6 and I get:

"This application requires Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher"

Firefox 1.0.7 is what I'm running.

Works for me - Firefox 1.5.0.1 on Suse 10.

I refer to your e-mail of 2 January 2006 concerning the above

would investigate the matter and that I would advise you of its

The investigation has now been completed and the VicRoads on-line
interactive bicycle maps application has been modified. The testing
that we have undertaken with the browser versions that are available
to us indicates that the application can now be used with Netscape
(Mozilla/Firefox), Safari (Macs) and Opera browsers.

I'm runnin Safari (and Firefox) on MacOSX 10.4 and the firefox link works in both.
The IE link (as usual) doesnt

Can anyone tell me what the legend for the maps is?
I see Gertrude St in Fitzroy shows up as 'bicycle lane' (solid blue line) ,
and then further west as a dotted red and white line - but that isn't in the
legend....?
The map's silly without it :-)

Choosing "Firefox" works for me. It first redirects to
http://210.9.62.138/website/bikes2b/browser.html

I'm using Mozilla 1.7.8 under Redhat Linux Workstation 3.

If you enclose the URL with < and > then it does not matter if it breaks
over several lines.

I tried both the Mozilla and IE links and it doesn't seem to work under
Opera.

In windows possibly. In lunix, it just makes it harder to triple
click-drag, middle-click paste into cat2linesurl.sh script.

OK, so maybe I like user unfriendliness 🙂

I was disappointed last night to find a colleague could actually work
out how to start up a firefox window in my window manager.
