I'm a little skeptical of the actual power output being enough for a
bicycle light. A computer case cooling fan of similar size is usually
rated at less than 2 watts:

But just about every generator in this test produced > 2 watts at 6
mph:

As for the battery backup for stop signs, that feature is included in

Carl, it wasn't a buy recommendation, but thank you the commentary.
No, 3.5 volts at 70mA is not really gonna work for the backwoods
adventure racer, maybe not even for the post-dusk daily commute.
Interesting concept though.

That's be more than three typical red led's need; in blinking mode you could
have a larger number, assuming there was some sort of power storage. Post
dusk would be fine.

it might be inbteresting, but it is powering a single LED of about medium
power or brightness.
So it might be useful in the dark if your main light ran down or something.
But the real catch is how fast you have to go to have it work.
