Question: Invalid bikers: good or bad name?

    - Great name, I love it
    - It's ok
    - No, it's a bad name
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

  2. I must disagree...makes you sound either broken, or too much like a bike
    group

  3. First of all, I wouldn't call myself an invalid, EVER. Second of all:
    "bikers".

    What about "Valid ikers"?

    in·va·lid
    n. One who is incapacitated by a chronic illness or disability.
adjective : being without force or effect under the law

I immediately thought of the first definition so I vote no.

  6. Bisected bikers? There is alliteration with that too.
You could always spend a few minutes on thesaurus.com and look for some
    better words.

Interesting. I first thought of "not true." Only when I read the
responses did I think of "incapacitated."

I have no opinion. Call yourself (and your group) whatever you want.

  11. like almost every other poll anyone puts up, you're leaving out the
answer I would have given. It's not necessarily a *bad* name, but I
don't like it and wouldn't use it.

    Two connotations:

Bikers that are not valid. Doesn't really make sense or apply to the
    differences between bikes and unicycles.

Bikers that are invalids. Makes un-sense, as the bikers are the
    invalids compared to us.

I'd rather be called something like the Un-Bikers, Wheeliers, or
something that points to the differences between the bike and uni.

Feel free. I don't have enough local unicyclist mates to form a club so
I have no use for names 🙁
I have been trying to teach some guys at work though. I like the idea
