Is Cadel Clean?

It's the Final Showdown! Cadel the Clean vs. Dirty Bertie...Good vs. Evil...The Forces of Light vs the Darkside...oh the drama of it all!

Prudhomme has said that it would be better for the Tour if Evans wins...he knows something about Dirty Bertie.... 😄

I think I'll open a beer and start celebrating right now... 🙂

Cadel can only win if:

1) Team Discovery is DQed for doping

2) Cadel does not drug tested for testosterone (IRMS) or mixed blood cells.

3) Tour cancelation and TV blackout.

I'll get back to my former opinion that he is as clean as it gets for a contender. (I got tempted to think otherwise by a german site linking him with ferrari but that seems rumour and slander after all).

Anyway lets not get ignorant enough to think that mister Evans is the only contender who has gone through his career on milk and cookies. You are definately underestimating the effects of doping on the capacity to ride a bike, if he is 100 % utterly and totally clean and still riding for the nr 1 spot in the TDF than he is literally superman. He could have lead the field by 3 hours if noone used in such a case.

I like Evans. And I hope he wins to be honest. I dont think he is Superman but I dont think he is Doctor Evil either. Would be nice to see him win.

van den Hoogy was the best swimmer, much better in fact than Thorpe.

Thorpe was overhyped.

Boogy, 2 golds in the 100 THE BLUE RIBAND event at 2000 and '04. Much more depth.

WR in the 100.

gold in the 200 at 2000 Olympics.

Swimmer of the Meet in 2002 Worlds. I think he has won the 100 twice at Worlds. The blue riband, the event with the most depth, the most competitive and most talented field.

Thorpe, in comparison, dominated the weak middle distance events.

There is no comparison, Hoogenband was a better swimmer, and should be recognised for that.

Phelps gotta forget about swimming everything but the 100 and 50. The 100 is where its at.

And as a side note. Aussie does rule in sports. Your place in the overall olympic medal list is always amazing considering the number of inhabitants.

According to my gf who's studying at La Trobe in Melbourne on an exchange program for 5 months atm she has never seen as many madly in shape people as in Aussie. (which troubles me by the way.. :p)
