Must be because it's 'sort of' a holiday. Stockmarket closed, but UPS
delivered at my house. Don't know about banks or mail. It's anyone's
guess. I'm tired of googling these kinds of holidays to see what's open.

Presidents Day is a national holiday, no banks, no stock market,

I was thrilled to get my UPS package today -- 2 Kaiser baking pans Made in
Germany which outshone the 1 pan Made in China. Should've spent the
difference. Viva (vive?) le Kaiser.

FedEx shares the USPS load for jets or something. For when that kidney or

FedEx delivers to my orders to my house abt. 25% of the time; UPS about 65%
and USPS about 10%. FedEX come whizzing up the hill like a bat out of hell.
My last package from Lee's it looked like they had run over it with a tire.
It was wrecked! Luckily for me, Lee's was 100% cooperative.

When it comes to getting a life-saving transplant, of course I wouldn't mind
USPS or FedEx sending an organ; but it at all possible, I'd like for one of
my family to monitor the delivery.

I think someone posted that FN is doing a Rachael marathon today. I
dunno. I don't turn on the TV most days--it'll be on when I get home
from work around 11:30, with the wife watching. But the couple hours
before work I don't need it.
