Noone interested in them? or did you see the plateful and
decide it wasn't for you?

One man was going to "harvest" the cicadas and turn them
into some kind of gourmet food. He tried eating some of it
and ended up in the hospital. It was in yesterday's news
broadcasts.

I'm grilling the ones I find in the gardens and I'm going to
advertise them as the newest rage in no carb snacks.

They should be very crispy before coating with the chocolate
but nix the cinnamon.

I'd like to see what he can do with locusts.

I think they start out a bit crispy if fresh, but I suppose
you could briefly deep fry them first.

I wonder if he was certain that was all he had. They've
shown a couple of chefs demo'ing their latest bug cuisine.
And I remember many years ago in a disreputable
proselytyzing Christian group that in preparation for the
tribulation, we tried frying moths and other large insects
and eating them.
I confess, I didn't touch them....

Supposedly, the man broke out in terrible hives. The
hospital issued a bulletin that said that the patient was
suffering from an severe allergic reaction. He had prepared
and eaten about thirty of the cicadas.
If you did not eat the moths and insects, how will you be
prepared for the tribulations that await you? :o)
