apparently either a histamine mediated response, or due to unconditioned
capillaries. If anyone can tell me why I itch so much when I run I might
just venture out again.
Histamine is your body's allergy response (hence antihistimines to
control allergies). More accurately, it mediates your body's response
to intruders, allergies being that your body goes overboard in responding.
So think a bit about whether you've been exposing yourself, especially
legs, to new substances.
More likely, at a guess, is that not unusual capillary response.
Of course your doctor can speak more specifically, and has the more
extensive general knowlege than a tour of the web (or newsgroup), and
get see and inspect the body in question.
