I'm not sure I'm expecting a good answer to this...by why so much hate
towards Julich? In his modern interviews, he seems a cool enough guy."Keith" <[email hidden]> wrote in message

professional cyclist when they are still flipping burgers. -
Because the vast majority of posters to r.b.r. never approached the
level of Julich's worst day on the bike, and they're jealous babies? -

Yes, but the same is true of his detractors.

Yes, very true.

Greece? -

I like Bobby so I don't really qualify but from what I've seen over
the years is that it goes back to the late 90's when he would say
stuff like 'Ullrich and I have a long future here', referring to the
TdF.He was cocky, as all pro atheletes tend to be, whether they say it out
loud or not. And rightly they should be.D

I think that eventually, maybe around the time he joined CSC,
Julich forgave himself for not being the next Greg Lemond. There seem to be quite a few people (like RBR's own "Yves Ladouche"😉
who still haven't been able to forgive him for it.
