was trying to figure this one out. I just did my second ride with my power tap, and i really think it is a great tool, and look forward to using it to help reach my goals. My question has to with the kilojoules calculation. My first ride i burned 668 kJ and the second ride i burned 758 kJ, now when i tried to figure out calories burned, i only came up with 159 and 181 kilocalories burned. Is this right. I rode for one hour on the trainer each time, the first one was with an average heart rate around the upper aerobic zone/lower tempo zone, and an average power of 185 watts, the second ride was a CTS climbing video workout, with an average hr of 151 and average power of 211. Now these calorie numbers seem awfully low, or is it just me? I would imagine that i was burning way more calories than this. Any help is appreciated.
