Lance Armstrong's Pathetic excuse

I really didnt want to justify this lame post with a response, but I will.

LA is a sportsman, he's dedicated his life to a craft many have failed at, many have succeeded at, some died at. He may or may not have taken drugs, no one knows but LA...it is not as clear cut as this thread starter implies, and I see no evidence in any official documentation or press in the public domain that defines LA as a drug addict or illegal drug taker.

I do know that many cyclists ( and sports men and women in virtually all elite and some non elite sports have and continue to use performance enhancing substances , some illegal, some not. Many feel they have to do that to gain a competitive levelling , let along an edge with others who are also taking PE substances. Where does it end, perhaps like the duck cleaning its butt , they will dissappear up their own.

At this point in time, LA is clean...the French have an agenda to dump on him, they dont have their own TdeF champion with 7 recent TdeF victories to gloat over, so they can easily bag anyone who is not French who is one.

Many folk in this world have an agenda and are happy to abuse others and their reputations to further that agenda.

This is no place to outrightly dismiss a clear cut elite performance cyclist who has the accomplishments in his name posted. A cheap shot at him is unworthy, irresponsible and downright ignorant.

Get a life pal and have some respect for those who have achieved something in theirs.

and read the quote at the bottom of this, if LA is not 100% behind cycling then we are in the wrong universe.

Some people think they can build themselves up by tearing someone else
down. Usually, they are losers who haven't anything about themselves
to brag about. It's a psychological defense mechanism to enhance one's
self esteem in one's own mind.

You sound like an upset child. Even if founded in unknowns it's good you're
using this as motivation to start cycling for yourself instead of in terms
of Lance.
