FWIW the problem here is that your email is being rejected because of where you are sending it
from. It looks like your ISP has got itself on AOL's blacklist of spammers so any mail sent from
their servers is being rejected. You probably have got the correct address for Helen.
I think it was something else as an hour or so later it was accepting the server but rejecting the
address as unknown. Which turned out to be me being too clever and not just correctly removing the
munging $ and *'s but also wrongly converting the letters "dot" to a "."
For those that didn't make it the RFAF was a fantastic day. Superb course set out by Trailbreak and
RATZ that had novice/youngster and a more technical options. I did five laps and they were hard work
- one person did 20! and another 17 on a singlespeed. Not the fastest laps (and that wasn't the
object) but I did manage 2.5 times as many laps (and faster) than the editor of MBR!
Something close to £10k raised on the day by 150 riders and an expected total of over £15k I hear.
There is now a report and photos up at the RUSS Appeal website (plus details of how you can still
send in money or buy one of the fabulous t-shirts) russ-appeal.org.ukruss-appeal.org.ukOpen ↗
Good to see Russ there and meet the rest of the family.
